2009 - 2010 PA Executive Board Slate & May Meeting Agenda

Dear Parents,

In accordance with the High Tech High Media Arts Parent Association bylaws, the nominating committee has nominated the following candidates to serve on the 2009-2010 Executive Board of the High Tech High Media Arts Parent Association:

  • Co-Presidents – Linda McCue and Michael Moder

  • Co-Vice Presidents – Connie McGaughy and Lydia Armenta

  • Secretary – Joyce McCarthy

  • Treasurer - Roberta Ganz

  • Parliamentarian – Mindy Olson


The election of this slate will be held at the general meeting on Monday May 18th, 2009, at 6:00pm at High Tech High Media Arts directly following coffee with Kuhl from 5:00-6:00pm. Additional nominations, if any, will be received from the floor on that evening

Fresh and Easy: The Shop for Schools Program is from September 15 – December 31, 2010.

Shop for Schools Night is December 6th from 4 - 8 pm

We get $1 donated to our school for every $20 fresh&easy™ receipt we collect so bring your family and friends and do your grocery shopping with us!

All receipts for the appropriate period must be turned in to HTHMA Parent Association by Friday, January 28, 2011. The checks are distributed in May 2011.


  • All receipts that total $20 or more are eligible. For every $20 spent, the school will earn 1 dollar

  • Receipts from all Fresh and Easy stores are eligible and we can earn up to $5000

  • The school that raises the most in AZ, CA, NV can earn an extra $5000 bonus!

  • There will be an envelopes and banners at the school to collect the receipts; until they are installed,  save your receipts.

  • Catwalk 2011 (event date for 2011 will be posted when available) -- The next meeting will be Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 9 a.m. in the HTHI conference room. All are invited to join with other parents and staff members to make this event successful and rewarding... annually Catwalk raises more than $100,000 for HTH Pt. Loma Village schools.
